In 2014, Forbes said “Mobile is the Future of Everything…” Were they wrong? Mobile phones make up 50% of all internet traffic, and they have since 2017. Startups and overseas businesses are already developing for the mobile platform, skipping the desktop internet phase entirely. What does this mean for our existing applications? Well, it is simple. They are going mobile.
JBDev is no different. Our current clients are utilizing a variety of mobile functionality including self-scheduling, editing timecard mistakes, and, in some cases, clocking their time remotely with geo-tracking. All of this is performed within one of our IOS/Android mobile applications. What’s next? A complete manager platform which will ultimately eliminate the need of a desktop entirely.
